We have worked with industry-leading property funds to develop and provide an accurate and bespoke forecasting tool to better inform C-Suite level financial budgets.




How do AssetWize generate the Lifecycle Cost information?


Our lifecycle cost analysis and expenditure forecasts are created through our development of detailed asset registers via a combination of site visits, documentation review, contractor analysis and client interaction. The asset register is the foundation of lifecycle analysis and expenditure forecasting. We seek to understand the building’s current position in its lifecycle through detailed review of as-built documentation, operational and maintenance information and a comprehensive site audit. This enables us to prepare detailed asset registers which inform the user and devise comprehensive lifecycle cost forecasts to give control, providing a transparent breakdown of replacement costs for capital items and assets over a period of ten years.

AssetWize can also utilize the asset register information to provide additional operational/maintenance costs relative to both statutory and best practice planned maintenance as well as reactive backlog maintenance, providing you with further financial insight into the day-to-day running costs of your portfolio. How do you collect and generate your lifecycle cost information?


The asset register is considered to be the fundamental information source for all property related maintenance and expenditure. AssetWize generates an asset register for all capital items and assets requiring maintenance or replacement over time. This is compiled through a combination of a site audit, documentation review and consultation with our clients, operators and their service providers.
The asset register information assists in formulating the lifecycle cost information and considers the condition, age and use of the asset, remaining life expectancy and environmental parameters together with capital replacement costs and planning for maintenance requirements.




What are some of the key factors that AssetWize consider when undertaking lifecycle cost planning analysis?


When considering the funding of the operational and capital expenditure forecasts, we bring an appreciation of the building’s current position in its lifecycle, how specific areas are utilised, as well as considerations for future sustainability improvements, together with the current maintenance standards that are expected.
